What can I get in Ireland for... between €350k and €400k?

It’s a competitive price bracket, so here are a few properties to take a look at right now.

STAYING WITHIN BUDGET is one of the toughest things to do when it comes to buying a new home. But worry not, we’re here to help.

Each week, we round up four properties, within a certain price range, so you can keep your funds on track. Read on for our selection of homes in Leinster, right now, that are going for between €350,000 and €400,000.

Naas, Co Kildare – €375,000

Castle Farm is a new development of A-rated two, three and four bedroom houses located just outside Naas town. Each home is A-rated for energy and embraces a smart layout that allows for natural light to travel in.

In terms of location, Castle Farm is just a thirty minute drive from Dublin city. However, its close proximity to Naas town means new residents will have everything in the way of schools, shops, social amenities and sports facilities on their doorsteps. For regular commuters who don’t fancy the drive, the Arrow train service is available from Sallins, which is just 5 km away.

Clonsilla, Dublin 15 – €380,000

Surrounding a five acre park, this collection of semi-detached three-bed homes are all A-rated for lower bills and extra warmth. Inside, the kitchen and dining area is clean and contemporary, while wood floors add a nice textural contrast. Built-in wardrobes ensure plenty of bedroom storage. Every bathroom is fitted with a chrome heated towel rail, and is tiled throughout.

Hansfield and Clonsilla train stations are both just a walk away for any city centre commuters. Also, the development is located near the M50 and M3, along with bus routes that will bring you to the heart of Dublin 4. For those staying local, the village of Ongar with its supermarket, cafe and other amenities is sure to become all too familiar – and a godsend for the weekly family shop.

Naas, Co Kildare – €385,000

As part of a new development in Finlay Park in Naas, The Abbey is a roomy three-bed semi-detached build with bright, well appointed rooms spread over two floors. The open plan kitchen and dining spaces are wonderfully zoned and bright thanks to double doors that lead out to the generously-sized and secluded back garden. Off-street parking for two cars ensure The Abbey is self-contained and perfect for young families.

A short walk from Naas town, new homeowners at Finlay Park have the Grand Canal close by, for peaceful strolls, and acres of surrounding green fields to take advantage of. For commuters, Dublin can be reached within the hour, ensuring that Finlay Park strikes a handy balance between country and city life.

Tallaght, Dublin – €390,000

Although essentially a collection of three-bed houses, the added bonus of the Temple Wood’s development in Tallaght is that the attic trusses have been designed to take on a conversion. Generously-sized rooms and excellent finishes, throughout these homes, have family living in mind. New home owners can choose the style of the exterior of these timber framed houses, too. All the while, the paved driveway has space for two cars.

With The Square and Tymon Park pretty much on Temple Hill’s doorstep, trips to the city centre may be scarce. However, a few minutes’ drive will have you on the M50 and the Kingswood Luas stop is just a walk away.
