What can I get in Cork... with a budget of €275,000?

Four family-sized homes, from Glanmire to Ovens.

FINDING A HOME in the right location that also matches your budget can be tricky, but we’re here to make that task easier.

Each week, we’ll zone in on a particular part of Ireland, and handpick four properties within a similar budget, to give you a snapshot of what your money could get you.

This week, we’re looking at properties around Cork with an asking price of exactly €275,000.

Glanmire, Co Cork — €275,000

In Glanmire, a thriving suburb of Cork city, you’ll find a traditional three-bedroom, two-bathroom semi-detached home. It’s located in a quiet cul-de-sac in the Castlejane Woods Development and is in turnkey condition.

Built in 1999, the home has three bedrooms upstairs (one en suite) and benefits from a large back garden with a paved patio area. At the front, there is space for one car to park, and there could be potential for the parking area to be extended to accommodate another vehicle.

The home is situated in the popular suburb of Kinvara, which is easily accessible to Blackpool shopping centre, with both primary and secondary schools within walking distance.

The family room is extra bright thanks to vaulted ceilings and Velux windows, and the layout is perfect for entertaining, with a bar that separates the kitchen from the dining area.
