FINDING A HOME that matches your budget without compromising your list of must-haves can be tricky, but we’re here to make that task easier.
Each week we round up a selection of homes currently on the market in Ireland around the same price point, giving you a snapshot of what a particular amount could get you.
This week, we’re looking at properties around the country with an asking price of exactly €225,000 — from a four-bedroom bungalow in Clare to a five-bedroom home in Donegal with panoramic views of the countryside.
In the popular suburb of Ballyalla, you’ll find a four-bedroom, two-bathroom detached bungalow with interesting architecture throughout both the exterior and interior of the property. It sits on almost half an acre, which provides a private site for this unique family home, and includes a double garage.
Inside, the vaulted ceiling and large picture windows in the sitting room give a brightness to the living area, which also has a solid fuel stove. There are parquet timber floors in the entry and dining rooms; sliding doors lead onto a large side patio and back garden.
