FINDING A HOME that matches your budget without compromising your list of must-haves can be tricky, but we’re here to make that task easier.
Each week we round up a selection of homes currently on the market in Ireland around the same price point, giving you a snapshot of what a particular amount could get you.
This week, we’re looking at properties around the country with an asking price of exactly €675,000 – from an old rectory in Co Sligo to a mews in a swish Dublin neighbourhood.
In Co Sligo, your budget will get you a six bedroom, four bathroom detached home with room for living space, a business, or even a family bed and breakfast. Meanwhile, over in Waterford City, your budget will get you a few more square feet. Greenmount House is a five bedroom, five bathroom detached house built in 1918 on over half an acre. The property also includes a hen house, greenhouse and old world cottage.
Inside, the property has an entrance porch with terrazzo flooring, two reception rooms with original fireplaces, high ceilings and sash windows. Outside, the south-facing garden has a view over Suir Estuary, and Dunmore and Waterford City are a short drive away. Beaches, golf club, GAA club and schools are all close by as well.
Finally, in north Kerry, your budget will net you just over 5,000 square feet of space in Clanawley, with five bedrooms and five bathrooms. The property sits on over 2.5 acres of land, including mature, manicured gardens that’s just 700 metres from Listowel town.
Inside, not only do you have lots of space for family and guests, you’ll also find a sauna and swimming pool. The home includes various reception areas, marble and hardwood flooring throughout, and lovely views of the surrounding countryside.
