What can I get in Ireland for... less than €500,000?

From a historic country house in Tipp to a beautiful bolthole in west Cork.

THE IRISH PROPERTY market is brimming with excellent brand new builds and  beautiful country piles that are looking for new homeowners. With so many high-end options around, it can be easy for our eyes to be bigger than our wallets.

That’s why, each week, we seek out four properties new to the market that stay within a specific price range. This time, we scout out for wonderful homes that keep things below €500,000.

Nenagh, Co Tipperary – €475,000

A rare find in this category, Lissaniskey House is a superb 18th century home that has a whopping ten bedrooms. With its Georgian facade and period features within, the house is a dream for anyone looking for update a beautiful historic building.
