Price Comparison: What can I buy in Co Meath for under €510,000?

We show you four homes under €510,000 available to buy in Meath.

MEATH WILL ALWAYS be a top choice when it comes to commuter counties. But it’s not just its proximity to Dublin city that makes the county appealing. Affordability and more space are just two more reasons why the county is popular with house hunters.

This week, we’ve found four spacious homes in Meath that are all under the €510,000 mark – all detached and semi-detached from Navan to Kilcock, here’s what’s on offer.

Six-bed, detached, Navan – €510,000

This large six-bedder on Commons Lane in Navan is 206 m² in size and stands on .7 of an acre. Ready to walk into, the rooms comprise of an entrance hall that leads to a living room, the kitchen with a separate dining room, a bathroom, and a utility room. Three bedrooms complete the ground floor including the largest which has its own bathroom and walk-in closet. The floor above is where the remaining three bedrooms are, one of which also has its own bathroom and another walk-in closet.

The garden surrounding the house is landscaped and home to a water feature, and a stand alone garage that has renovation potential if a home office or workshop is in the next owner’s sight. Navan is just 2.9km away and Trim is 15km away. The M3 motorway is also easily accessible if Dublin ever calls. The house is also close to schools, sporting facilities and plenty of shops needed for everyday living.

Four-bed, semi-detached, Navan – €380,000

2 Cois Glaisin Park in Navan is a spacious four-bed with a floor area of 132 m². One of a collection of A-rated homes, the house is just five years old and is conducive to family life in a town, with parking to the front and a private garden to the back. The whole house is in great nick, so aside from a personal touch, would need little in the way of renovating. The rooms inside include the hallway that links to the living room, kitchen with dining space incorporated, the utility room and a guest toilet.

Each of the four bedrooms sit upstairs – the main has an en suite bathroom and the others share the family bathroom. The house has handy gated side access to the back garden, which has a garden shed and nice patio area. Located on the Dublin side of Navan town, it would surely suit a hybrid worker who needs a good connection with the city but a sense of community, too.

Four-bed, semi-detached, Navan – €375,000

108 Fitzherbert Court on Slane Road is another four-bedder that’s 121 m² in size. The home has seen some upgrading over the years, so the next owners shouldn’t have to worry about spending on the kitchen, main bathroom and floors throughout. It has also been freshly painted, the boiler has been upgraded as well as the insulation affording it a B2 BER. The rooms include a cosy lounge with a solid fuel stove, along with a study to the front. The bedrooms live upstairs with the main enjoying its own bathroom.

The driveway to the front is a large space that can fit up to four cars. To the back is a nicely-landscaped back garden. The house is a short stroll from Navan town centre, and the Fitzherbert Court development is close to schools of both levels as well as the Blackcastle Shopping Centre.
