Honeymooning couple killed in island quad bike accident

Jonathan and Emma Gray, both in their twenties, had travelled to the Maldives after being married in Britain the week before.

A JUST-MARRIED British couple have been killed in a quad biking accident while on their honeymoon in the Maldives.

Jonathan and Emma Gray, both in their 20s, were found injured by the side of the road at the Kuredu Island Resort and Spa in the early hours of last Saturday morning, the Guardian reports. A third person was also said to have been injured in the crash but is being treated in hospital.

According to the BBC, the pair had married last week in a church near Halifax in Yorkshire, where they were from. Friends have been visiting the home they shared to lay flowers in tribute. Emma Gray’s brother today described them as a “wonderful couple”.

I live in amsterdam, I bike everywhere everyday. My favorite “innovation” is my coffee cup holder. It shocks me that you don’t see more around this town. I am also eagerly awaiting for someone (starbucks?!) to open a bike thru lane somewhere in town so that I don’t have to get my kids in and out of the bike when i fuel up. http://empireroadbikes.com/
