Woman dies after house fire in Enniskillen

A man who was also in the house is being treated in hospital.

A WOMAN HAS died in a house fire in Northern Ireland overnight.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the blaze in the Silverhill Park area of Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh, shortly before midnight, Inspector John McKenna said.

“Unfortunately the woman was found deceased at the scene,” McKenna continued.

“A man who had also been in the house at the time of the fire has been taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries.”

The blaze is not currently being treated as suspicious.
