Patrick Lawlor went missing almost 12 years ago.

GARDAÍ HAVE BEGUN preparing a site in Dublin ahead of a planned search in connection with the disappearance of a man in 2004.

An investigation is ongoing into disappearance of Patrick Lawlor from Darndale in Coolock, who was reported missing on 16 December 2004, when he was 24 years old.

A search of the grounds of the now derelict Belcamp House situated off the R139 road, which leads from the M1 to the Malahide Road, is expected to begin on Monday continue for up to three weeks. Preparatory work at the site began this morning.

Gardaí said the result of this search “will determine the future direction of the investigation”.

Gardaí have appealed to anyone who may have information about the disappearance to contact Coolock garda station on 01 666 4200 or the garda confidential line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
