GETTING TO GRIPS with a fast-changing property market is tricky, but we’re here to make things simpler.
Each week, we’ll handpick four homes within a similar budget, to give you a snapshot of the property landscape at a particular price point.
This week, we’re looking at properties in Co Kildare with an asking price of exactly €575,000 – from a modern property in Stephenstown to a family home in Celbridge.

When I lived in Sweden, all I ever had to do with unused or outdated prescription drugs was to hand them into any pharmacy for appropriate and safe disposal. The same applies in the other Nordic countries as well as in many other parts of Europe. It isn’t exactly rocket science, and I’m sure Irish pharmacies could do the same if they were required to as a condition of being given a licence.
As for disposing of ILLEGAL drugs, have you ever heard of anyone who wanted to hand in his stash for it to be destroyed? Get real!

Dont understand the bins at all, like Sweden, you can already hand old and unused medications into any pharmacy or medical practice for disposal. Health ministers wasting more money…..
You can here too with prescription drugs.. It might be a different story if you tried to hand over a few wraps of heroin though.

No 3 “community organisations”,lol…..certain loyalist community organisations will allow you your very own drug franchise and area if you pony up 5k a week in cash to them.For the 5k you get minimum interferance from the police and protection of your franchise.from other dealers.

The psni has given up,why should they bother?They went to investigate a drug dealer in Larne which resulted in 4 officers getting injured in two days of rioting by fleg protestors brought on to the streets by the community organisations,the cultural parading type.
The have them here in public bathroom in oz -people are gonna use them, accept it, I’d prefer them in a metal locked up container than all over the ground!
Maybe the addicts want the drugs delivered to the their place of residence also
You didn’t even read the first line of the article, did you? The bins are for safe disposal of both legall prescription drugs and narcotics.
Can’t we just do mass internment of drug users and suppliers? Keep them all on an island?

What’s wrong with putting unwanted prescription medications in the regular bin? They are after all safe for human consumption and rubbish goes to land fill.
They will become a target for criminals?
Donegal can be so initiative at times.
How about they sort out normal bins first and then they can get to this? I rarely see a public bin outside the city centre!
