Price Comparison: What can I buy in south Co Dublin for €800,000?

From a cosy two-bed in Killiney to a four-bed in Rathfarnham.

GETTING A HANDLE on the fast-changing property market is tricky, but we’re here to make things a bit easier.

Each week, we find a number of homes within a similar budget, to give you a snapshot of the property landscape at a particular price point.

This week, we’re looking at properties on Dublin’s south side that are all under €800,000.

Four-bed, semi-detached, Dun Laoghaire – €745,000

77 Kill Avenue is a large four-bed home with five bathrooms and a floor area of 189 m². The place has bee refurbished so it’s ready to walk into. Every one of the bedrooms has its own shower room. One of the bedrooms is downstairs and is currently used as a home office. The attic has been converted to provide more storage and a games room with an extra toilet.

Location-wise, Kill Avenue is close to Foxrock, Monkstown,  and Dun Laoghaire so families will have their pick of schools on the south side along with third level places like the Institute of Art, Design and Technology. Plenty of public transport options will bring you straight to the city centre.
