Price Comparison: What can I buy in Co Mayo for under €500,000?

Three in Castlebar and one in Louisburgh.

So, each week, we try to make your life a little easier. House hunting in Co Mayo with a budget of around €500,000? Whether you’re planning a move out west, or have lived there all your life, no doubt you’ll find something to catch your eye in this handpicked selection.

Five-bed, detached, Castlebar – €345,000

This four, potentially five-bed home is part of the Leicnin Village development that’s about a five minute drive from Castlebar. The house sits on a peaceful cul-de-sac and is a nicely sized 158 m². The rooms inside comprise a hall that leads to a guest toilet, a front room that could be the fifth bedroom and then a sitting room that links to the full-fitted kitchen and dining space. A utility room completes the ground floor.
