“WHAT DO WE do?” The words of KRK Houston news reporter Steve Campion as he watches a car nearly sink into flooded waters beneath an underpass.

Live footage shows the shocked driver as he escapes from the car, swimming to safety and being aided by Campion.

The incident unfolded live on air, with viewers watching as Campion helped the man emerge safely from the water. The man, in shock at what occurred, watches as his car slips below the water level.

The flooding was due to unprecedented levels of rain that fell on Houston over the weekend.
