THE M50 IS a central part of the daily routine for many Irish drivers, from short hop commuters going from A to B, to long-haul travellers using it to connect them to other road routes around Ireland.

But while you drive along the 45.5km stretch of motorway, looking out for your upcoming junction or checking traffic alerts, how much information about the M50 are you actually taking in? Are you just following your GPS or could find your way around on your own?
