Here’s the schedule for the Dáil’s late-night IBRC sitting

It’ll be a late one in the Dail.

IT’LL BE A LATE ONE.

Independent TD Thomas Pringle has tweeted this copy of the provisional Dáil schedule for this evening – indicating that TDs will be knocking around until at least after midnight.

Emergency legislation – the IBRC Resolution Bill 2013 – is being debated by the Dail tonight so that the former Anglo Irish Bank can be liquidated, as part of a deal on the promissory notes.

It is expected that the Seanad could be called into session after midnight to get the legislation discussed in time. President Higgins is said to be on his way home from Italy to sign any emergency legislation.
