Protesters marched to Leinster House today to protest against a range of measures affecting rural Ireland, including the household charge, septic tank charges, and the closure of schools and hospitals.

SEVERAL HUNDRED PEOPLE marched in Dublin city centre today in protest at austerity measures by the current government.

Protesters from across Ireland marched from O’Connell Street to Leinster House against a range of measures affecting rural Ireland, including the household charge, septic tank charges, and the closure of schools and hospitals.

Fianna Fáil TD Eamon O Cuiv and Independent TD Michael Healy Rae both addressed the crowd at Leinster House.
