Insurance broker Chill to create 100 jobs in Dublin

Chill Insurance will expend its business to cater for increased consumer demand – creating new jobs in the process.

INSURANCE BROKER Chill is to create 100 new jobs at its headquarters in Blackrock, Co Dublin, in the next three years.

The insurer this afternoon said it was expanding its business to cater for increased consumer demand, across the motor, household and travel sectors – providing consumers with as many as 14 quotes in each area.

Currently employing 60 people, the workforce will rise to 160 in three years time.

The company said the jobs would be split across the insurance, technology and back office operations of the business, with recruitment set to begin immediately.

Chill – which has been in brokerage for forty years, as Power Lynch & Associates – was founded in 2007, and does the bulk of its trade via its Chill.ie website. It claims to be Ireland’s largest ‘online insurance supermarket’.
