Poll: Do you care more about rugby now than before?

Recent victories has helped boost the sport’s popularity.

YESTERDAY SAW THE Irish rugby team crowned Six Nations champions for the second year in a row, placing us in a good position for this year’s World Cup as a formidable force in the sport.

Rugbyhas rapidly gained popularity in recent years, something that was sparked by the 2009 Grand Slam, and helped by last year’s Six Nations and a strong performance by the women’s rugby team at the World Cup.

It’s closing the gap on GAA, but soccer still retains the largest fan base.

We want to know what you think of the sport: Do you care more about rugby now than before?

Poll Results:

No, but I was already a big fan (8439)
Yes (4145)
No (2934)
