Investigation begins into assault on Bray 19-year-old

A 19-year-old is assaulted with a broken bottle, and is rushed to Dublin with facial injuries.

GARDAÍ IN BRAY have begun an investigation into an assault that left a teenager with serious facial injuries.

The 19-year-old male was on the Vevay Road in the town at 7:30am this morning when he was approached by two men, one of whom was wielding a smashed broken bottle.

The victim was assaulted by the men and received serious facial injuries, which required that he be rushed to St Vincent’s Hospital in Dublin, where he remains.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to the attack to come forward; the Bray station can be contacted at (01) 6665300.
