Investigation launched after body found in Co Monaghan

Gardaí treating man’s death as suspicious.

GARDAÍ ARE TREATING THE death of a man whose body was found in Ballybay, Co Monaghan, early this morning as suspicious.

The man, believed to be in his late 50s, was found in his house on Main St at around 1.40am.

He was pronounced dead at the scene at around 3.30am.

The house has been sealed off for a technical examination and the body remains at the scene pending the arrival of the state pathologist.
