Police are warning people not to use this painfully stupid iPhone cover

Ah lads.

FILE THIS ONE under really, really bad ideas.

This unique iPhone cover is going viral for being something you definitely don’t ever want to buy.

Why, it’s a case designed to look to a gun in your pocket.

The NYPD tweeted an image of it to warn people not to be idiots.

The case can be bought on Ebay, but as expected it could cause you some serious trouble.

The O.C. Prosecutor’s office also warned people on Facebook to think twice about the purchase.

A police officers job is hard enough, without having to make a split second decision in the dark of night when someone decides without thinking to pull this out while stopped for a motor vehicle violation. What do you think?

The phone cover comes with shooting sound effects when you pull the trigger and the product description says it’s more of a piece of equipment than a cover.

Available in black, white or pink, this fake ‘pistol’ works with an app so you can interact with a digital version of the gun in the same color on your iPhone 5 screen. The app means you can play games of Russian Roulette at parties! Don’t worry, you can’t actually shoot anyone!

But alas, it cannot stop you getting hurt yourself.

A Change.org petition has already been set up to ban the case in the UK, and everyone can just about the whole internet can agree that it’s a terrible idea.

Drove through there yesterday evening, lots of teens gathered around in broad daylight drinking cans in groups. Some outside houses. Apprently it was a man living in a house who went out to ask them to move on and it got heated!
Millions spent regenerating the area and building new houses but still the same problem persist there. As per earlier article. Parents should be made pay for their childrens behaviour or lack of!

@Doubtchya Boy!: And our lefty politicians and the high paid advocates of the homeless industry want to build more of these future slums.

@Michael Reilly: Right Wing government certainly won’t build public housing. Especially when it interfears with the profits of landlords and developers.

Anyone caught with a knife on them should be locked up for murder or intent to murder. It’s shocking how common these headlines are.

@Madra: Yep, it’s not like they are covering the knife for no reason. They are planning on using it at some stage.
