Ireland didn't make it through to the Eurovision final

:-(

Eurovision Song Contest / YouTube

HOPES FOR IRELAND’S eight Eurovision win have been dashed.

This year’s entry, Playing with Numbers by 17-year-old Molly Sterling, has failed to qualify for this year’s final.

The song was knocked out at this evening’s semi-finals in Vienna.

Other disappointed countries include the Czech Republic, Iceland, Malta, Portugal, San Marino, and Switzerland.

The favourites to win the final are still Russia and Estonia.

Needless to say, everyone is very upset.

Maybe we need a little bit more of this.
