Poll: Do you feel positive about the Irish economy?

The ESRI does, what about you?

THE ESRI YESTERDAY hit a very positive note with its latest economic research, predicting that Ireland’s jobless rate will crash to 5% before the end of the decade.

A rate this low would be constituted “full employment”, demonstrating that the ESRI thinks Ireland is on the right track.

They cautioned though that even as the unemployment levels drop, wages are expected to stagnate, bad news for people who’ve endured pay cuts.

So all these indicators, do they affect how you feel about where Ireland stands financially?

Today’s poll, Do you feel positive about the Irish economy?

Poll Results:

Yes, somewhat positive (3136)
No, not at all (2481)
No, we're kind of off track (1170)
Yes, very positive (1158)
Unsure (587)
