Poll: Do you care about the origin of your food?

A survey has found that most pork sold in butchers isn’t of Irish origin.

A SURVEY BY the Irish Farmers’ Association has found that the majority of pork sold in Irish butchers has been imported.

The Irish Examiner reported that the shops involved had previously voluntarily agreed to source their products locally.

While some people aim to always buy Irish, others don’t mind where their food comes from.
