Irish man dies after falling 600m at Bulgarian ski resort

The Department of Foreign Affairs said it is aware of the case and is providing consular assistance.

AN IRISH MAN has died in Bulgaria after sustaining injuries at a ski resort yesterday.

It is understood that the man was aged in his 20s.

He fell from a height of about 600m at the Bankso mountain ski resort, located in a national park in southwest Bulgaria, the Associated Press reports.

The Department of Foreign Affairs said it is aware of the case and is providing consular assistance.
