Severe disruptions to Heuston trains following fatality

Emergency services are currently at the scene at Kildare Station.

THERE ARE SEVERE disruptions to trains running to and from Heuston Station in Dublin following a fatality at Kildare Station.

Emergency services are currently at the scene. In a tweet, Irish Rail said efforts are being made to bring all trains currently en route to Kildare into stations.

A spokesperson for Irish Rail said it is not yet clear how long the disruption to services will last.

Bus transfers are being arranged for the 10.15am Heuston-Waterford train which is currently at Newbridge and for the 08.55 Limerick-Heuston train at Monasterevin.
