Woman dies after being struck by train in Kildare

Services to and from Heuston have resumed after trains were suspended earlier this evening.

A WOMAN HAS died after being struck by a train in Kildare.

The incident took place at Sallins just after 3.30pm today.

A spokesperson for Irish Rail said emergency services are currently at the scene.

Passengers are being advised to find alternative transport from Heuston in Dublin due to significant delays on the line.

Services have resumed to and from the station, but there are still significant delays.
