Irish shopping website creates 40 new jobs in Dublin

The new positions will be in the areas of technical services, social media, finance, marketing and logistics.

THE OWNERS OF an Irish shopping website has announced the creation of 40 new jobs.
BuyersClub.ie helps small Irish producers to sell a range of products like food, craft, furniture, clothes and jewellery online, said owner and managing director Dara O’Mahony.

The jobs will be in the areas of technical services, social media, finance, marketing and logistics, and located in Blanchardstown, Dublin.

“Consumers are still being overcharged for everyday international grocery brands. BuyersClub.ie addresses all of these issues by providing customers with great value product and SMEs with market access, brand support and digital marketing and promotion,” O’Mahony said.

The Taoiseach Enda Kenny will visit the Blanchardstown warehouse this afternoon for the official opening.
