Poll: Will you pay your next Irish Water bill?

In the wake of the election, has your approach to the issue changed?

THE ISSUE OF water charges is back in the spotlight in the wake of comments by an outgoing Fine Gael minister that the party was “willing to talk about water” on Tuesday night.

Both Fianna Fáil and Taoiseach Enda Kenny said yesterday that people should keep paying their bills, but FF also restated their campaign position that charges should be suspended, with TD Dara Calleary noting they had made it clear in recent weeks that “we would not give refunds”.

The AAA-PBP’s Ruth Coppinger maintained this morning that people should boycott Irish Water, insisting the party would pursue the issue vigorously in the coming days.

This morning we’re asking: Amid the political uncertainty – will you pay your next water bill?

Poll Results:

No. (20645)
Yes. (3822)
I don't get an Irish Water bill. (1323)
No interest/no opinion. (545)
