AN IRISH WOMAN has died while trekking in Africa.

The woman in her 30s died yesterday morning while trekking on Mount Kilimanjaro.

It is understood she is from the south of the country.

The expedition company Earth’s Edge released a statement on its Facebook page saying that one of its clients had passed away yesterday morning.
