WE WARNED YOU earlier there could be snow and our roving reporter*, Quinton O’Reilly, has captured this sight in Oldcastle, Meath this morning.

Yep, actual snow.

It’s pretty light and it’s too wet to stick but we’re pretty sure this is the first snow of the Christmas season.

* He’s actually just home for the Christmas and not stuck in the office like us.
