Four police injured as car ploughs into crowd in Jerusalem

Police say the suspect has been shot.

FOUR ISRAELI POLICE officers have been taken to hospital after a car ploughed into them in Jerusalem.

The four female officers are described as ‘injured moderately’ after the attack with another person also reportedly hurt.

The suspect has been shot according to an Israeli police spokesperson.

The incident took place outside an Israeli border police station on the line separating west and east Jerusalem, police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said.

Public radio also put the number of injured at five.
