IT firm to create 125 new jobs in Dublin

US-based Marketo specialises in revenue management, and will today confirm an ambitious expansion into Dublin.

125 NEW JOBS are to be created at a US-based cloud computing and revenue management company when it announces expansion into Dublin today.

The positions will be created at Marketo, which has already begun recruiting for the positions – which will be spread across sales, marketing, development, support and back-office.

The five-year-old company has raised $35m (€24.5m) in the last twelve months alone, and $58m (€41m) in its five years of existence, according to FinFacts.ie.

IDA Ireland has described news of the positions as “a great win”. The jobs will be announced by enterprise minister Richard Bruton later today.

Marketo specialises in revenue performance management, and uses social media and other online media to help marketeers engage with customers.
