IT firm to create 180 jobs in Dublin

Version 1, an IT consultancy and services manager, will create 180 jobs in a new recruitment drive – mostly in Dublin.

AN IT CONSULTING company has announced plans to create 180 new jobs in the next three years, the majority of them in Dublin.

Version 1, a consulting and outsourced management services company, will create 45 jobs in the next three months and three times that amount in the following years.

The new jobs come on the back of 100 positions created last year, which brought its total workforce in Ireland to 265.

In a statement, the company said its recruitment drive was aimed at meeting the demands of new business, and to meet growth forecasts of 30 per cent for this year alone.

The company will seek graduates and consultants with qualifications in Java, Oracle and Microsoft for the roles. Version 1 has facilities in Dublin, Cork and Belfast.
