What’s so special about it?
The F-Type is a seriously desirable modern sports car with buckets of kerb appeal. And this four-cylinder model is also rather affordable when compared to the V6 versions.
Any standout design features?
The silhouette of the F-Type is instantly recognisable by its clean lines, feline-style headlights and seductively long bonnet – but I love how the design shows its lineage to the stunning and iconic E-Type.
And check out those wide rear haunches. They make the car look athletic whilst still being elegant. The car’s design is synonymous with luxury and performance and I think it is one of the best looking cars out there.
And what powers this Jaguar F-Type?
This particular example is powered by the new four-cylinder 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine. To compensate for the loss of two cylinders, Jaguar has tuned the engine’s intake and exhaust noise in an attempt to get it as close as possible to the six-pot’s soundtrack. It’s an approach that works, because the F-Type certainly sounds melodious.
The engine produces 300hp at 5,500rpm and 400Nm of torque at 1,500-4,500rpm and is mated with a slick eight-speed automatic transmission. Getting from zero to 100km/h will take you just 5.7 seconds and the car goes onto a top speed of 249km/h.
Does the Jaguar F-Type have any luxurious touches?
Luxurious features of this R-Dynamic car include embossed tread plates and a Delta Aluminium finish for the centre console with an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
There’s also a lovely fixed panoramic glass roof, a sumptious leather and suedecloth interior, heated sports seats, and a stereo camera which controls the autonomous emergency braking system.

The Jaguar F-Type is a car for driving enthusiasts who like the finer things in life. This car has precise, agile handling but is also comfortable and refined. It is a joy to drive and well suited to those who like nothing more than hitting the open road for long leisurely road trips.
