The jobs will be in technical support, sales and marketing, with 50 jobs to be created immediately.

NINETY NEW JOBS are to be created in Dublin and Cork at IBS-Xerox, the Irish branch of Xerox Europe.

The jobs will be in engineering and technical support, sales, and marketing, with 50 jobs to be created immediately. The remaining 40 positions will be filled over the next 18 months.

Irish Business Systems was founded in Ireland in 1972, has 160 full-time staff, and is the all-island arm of Xerox Ireland. It was acquired by Xerox Europe just over three years ago.

IBS-Xerox is the largest supplier of document management systems in Ireland.

Jerry Carey, the group managing director, said that the company has seen increased demand in recent times.

“We are seeing increased demand from our large corporate clients, together with a growth in SMEs investing in new print equipment,” said Carey. “Both are very positive signs that confidence is returning to the business sector.”
