Helicopter leasing company lands in Dublin with some new jobs

Two other companies also announced the creation of jobs in Dublin today bringing the total to 48.

MINISTER RICHARD BRUTON has announced the creation of 48 new jobs in two US and one European-based company which have established operations in Dublin.

Helicopter leasing company Lobo Leasing will create 15 jobs, Sure power Energy and Utilities is bringing 25 jobs and the PR and marketing agency Wired Island is creating 8 new positions.

The companies were introduced to Ireland through the ConnectIreland programme. “As a result of business and social connections, three projects and 48 jobs that would have gone elsewhere are now coming to Ireland,” Minister Bruton commented today.

Lobo Leasing is recruiting for 15 highly positions in Ballsbridge. Recruitment has already begun and the new Irish operation will require a new general manager, administrative staff, portfolio manager,business development manager, internal legal counsel and a finance team.

Sure Power is looking for professionals for consulting assignments with experience in project and program management. Wired Island is looking to expand its international footprint by hiring eight staff in its new Dublin office.

Today’s announcements bring to 346 the number of jobs being created in Ireland by ConnectIreland in 15 companies secured over the past two years.
