Joe Duffy is building Ireland's largest BMW dealership

New premises will be in Charlestown and will create 20 new jobs.

THE JOE DUFFY Group has announced that it is building Ireland’s largest BMW dealership. Development of the new facility is already underway and it is just a few yards from the current Joe Duffy BMW site in Charlestown, at Exit 5 off the M50 motorway in Dublin.

The relocation to the new site forms part of the Joe Duffy Group’s €30 million expansion plans, details of which were released last July.

The new site will have a new and used showroom of BMW, BMWi, MINI and Motorrad products. It will also have a workshop with 30 service bays and a carpark with capacity for 250 vehicles.

Commenting on the development, Joe Duffy Group chief executive Gavin Hydes said:

The new multi-storey BMW retail facility, overlooking the M50, is a significant part of the Group’s investment and expansion plans and demonstrates our confidence in the BMW brand. We are committed to providing customers with an exceptional retail environment, and we want to deliver the best retail experience in Ireland for customers purchasing and servicing their cars.

The flagship BMW dealership will create an additional 2o jobs in sales roles, aftersales and administration over the next three years and it is due to open towards the end of 2018.
