Joe Higgins elected to the Dáil

THE SOCIALIST PARTY’S Joe Higgins has returned to the Dáil after being elected on the third count in Dublin West.  Higgins lost his seat in 2007 but has regained it today following the election of Labour’s Joan Burton and Fine Gael’s Leo Varadkar.  There is one more constituency seat remaining which Fianna Fáil’s Brian Lenihan will be hoping to take.
