Home of Joe Schmidt burgled day after win over England

A small amount of property was stolen.

IRELAND COACH JOE Schmidt had his house burgled just one day after the Irish rugby team beat England.

It’s been confirmed to TheJournal.ie that Rathfarnham gardaí are investigating a robbery that took place in the Churchtown area on 2 March.

A small amount of property was stolen from the premises.

Gardaí are continuing their investigations.

It’s understood this is not the first time the coach has been victim to this crime. In 2012, one of his Heinken Cup winner medals was stolen.
