Gardaí appeal for help in finding missing Waterford man

John Gear was last seen on Wednesday 15 January.

GARDAÍ IN WATERFORD are appealing for assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 50 year old John Gear.

He was last seen early Wednesday morning, 15 January, in the Knockboy area of Waterford and was reported missing later that evening.

John is described as being 5′ 5″ in height, of medium/stocky build with grey well kept hair.

He was last seen wearing a navy coloured ‘Waterford County Council’ bomber jacket and blue denim jeans.

John Gear drove a 08 WD registered Silver Toyota Auris Hatchback.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have observed this vehicle being driven in the Waterford City, Tramore, Dunmore East areas on Monday or Tuesday to contact them.
