The John Lewis ad is the pick-me-up you need today

The ad, features foxes, a badger, a boxer and a trampoline.

THE JOHN LEWIS Christmas ad has become a modern tradition.

For the last nine years, the British department store has come up with a major ad during the Christmas period that invariably makes people feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Given that 2016 has seen a plethora of celebrity deaths and deep societal divisions exposed, some people needed a pick-me-up.

Luckily for them, the John Lewis ad, featuring foxes, a badger, a boxer and a trampoline, is just lovely.

Unfortunately, the ad will mean plenty of tweets to the owner the @JohnLewis account – an American man named John Lewis.

The music is One Day I’ll Fly Away performed by Vaults.
