John Murray returns to RTÉ Radio 1 tomorrow morning

The broadcaster has been off sick for the past seven months.

RTÉ BROADCASTER JOHN Murray is returning to his weekday slot from 9am to 10am on RTÉ Radio 1 from tomorrow morning.

The news was confirmed in a tweet from The John Murray Show’s account this evening, with Murray ending a seven month absence from the show:

Prime Time presenter Miriam O’Callaghan has been filling in for 49-year-old since he took leave with an undisclosed illness.

O’Callaghan will now return to her regular Sunday morning radio slot on ‘Miriam Meets…’ and tweeted her own best wishes to Murray tonight:
