Bounce back: 60 new jobs at Jump Zone

Irish company opens second facility and is in ‘advanced discussions’ over franchising abroad.

DUBLIN TRAMPOLINE ENTREPRENEURS Daniel Begley and Paul Quinn will open a second ‘Jump Zone’ in Santry this month, resulting in over 60 new hires at the company.

The new 35,000 square foot facility represents an investment of more €1.3 million and will feature two dodgeball courts and Europe’s first ‘foam pit’. It will overtake the pair’s Sandyford site as the company’s flagship operation.

Jump Zone is understood to be at an advanced stage of discussions on franchising the operation to Wales and Spain, with expressions of interest also arriving from other parts of the UK, France and Holland.

Since opening its doors in 2012, the original Jump Zone in Sandyford has clocked over 100,000 customers and accommodates dodgeball competitions, fitness classes and children’s parties.
