Loads of people have started queuing on Grafton Street for Kanye West runners

They’re not available until TOMORROW.

IF YOU WALKED down Grafton Street today, you’d have spotted several young men sitting on deckchairs outside BT2.

But they were not just soaking up the rays. (Did we mention it was a lovely day?)

They’re actually camping outside in advance of the release of Yeezy Boost 350.

What’s the Yeezy Boost 350, you ask? It’s a runner designed for Adidas by Kanye West.

Adidas states that the limited edition shoe is “exquisitely designed” and “transcends current sneaker trends”.

You hear that? They’re transcendent.

The shoes become available at 9am tomorrow morning and retail for €200. As BT2 only have a limited number of pairs in stock, they are not accepting reservations.

Hence why people have been queuing on Grafton Street since this morning.

This is not the first time Dubliners have gone mad for Kanye West footwear.

Earlier this summer, throngs of people queued outside BT2 to get a limited edition white pair of Yeezy Boost 350s.

Hardly ‘fleeing’. Walking away at their own leisurely pace I’d imagine.

Would it not be possible to build a concrete reinforced gulley to divert the lava flow off course toward the ocean.

Jenta can’t tell if your being sarcastic or serious? That would never work as lava cools as it flows and would block any gully/channel and the lava would eventually flow over itself

Also your spending millions on something that would only be used maybe once in a hundred years, has to be maintained, would be an eye sore. There is a reason nobody has done it before.

At the risk of sounding cynical, Kilauea isn’t doing anything it hasn’t always done. That’s how an undersea volcano came to be an island. Kilauea’s lava flows are always really slow, above ground, so there’s time for people to evacuate in safety. Stunning. Would love to visit.
