Price comparison: What are my options around Co Kerry for under €500k?

From a semi-d in Dingle to a large detached home in Listowel.

EACH WEEK, WE find a number of homes that are all within a similar price range, to give you an idea of the property landscape at the moment.

This week, we’re looking at properties in Co Kerry for under €500,000. Three detached homes and one semi-detached home make it on the list this time, including a five-bed in touristy Dingle and a four-bed in picturesque Kenmare.

Three-bed, detached, Killorglin: €325,000

This bungalow that sits on over half an acre makes great use of the attic and the natural light. A three bed, 2 Carragh Village is one of five detached homes as part of a small development. The ground floor comprises a stylish open plan sitting and dining room with a brick fireplace that has a wood burning stove and serves as a real feature in this space. The kitchen is relatively new and is fitted with high-end integrated appliances.

This large, energy efficient home, built in 2008, sits on more than an acre and spans a whopping 269 m². The garden is home to a standalone garage that’s complete with roller door and electricity. 

In terms of location, it’s just minutes from beaches and about a 10-minute drive to Ballybunion and Listowel. The home is a short distance from the village of Asdee while the historic town of Listowel is just ten minutes away.
