Young man passes away in hospital after being injured in Kildare crash

The 21 year old was a back seat passenger in a car that crashed last week.

A 21-YEAR-OLD man has died after being seriously injured in a crash in Kildare one week ago.

The young man was a back seat passenger in a car that was involved in a single-vehicle collision on the Kilteel Road at Old Miltown on the night of 28 November. He had been taken to Beaumont hospital in Dublin with serious injuries and passed away yesterday evening.

The driver and front passenger, both aged 24, were also injured in the incident, but have since been released from hospital.

Today gardaí in Naas renewed their appeal for witnesses to the crash to contact them at 045 884300, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
