Two people killed after BMW crashed and caught fire in Derry

The accident happened at around 3.30am on the Agivey Road in the Kilrea area.

THE PSNI ARE investigating a crash in the early hours of this morning in which two people were killed.

Shortly after 3.30am, police received a report of a blue BMW car on fire.

Following the attendance of emergency services it was determined that the vehicle had been involved in a road traffic accident and it is believed that two occupants died as a result.

The Agivey Road in the Kilrea area, Derry remains closed and police are asking anyone who may have seen the blue BMW M3 car in the hours preceding the collision to contact them in Coleraine on 0044 845 600 8000.
