Fourth person arrested in Kinsale deaths investigation

Three others who have been arrested in connection with the death of two men in Cork have since been released.

A MAN HAS been arrested in connection with the death of two men in Kinsale, Co Cork over the weekend.

The man in his late 20s was arrested this afternoon and is being detained at Bandon Garda Station.

He is the fourth person to be arrested in connection with the death of Michael Coleman and Liam Coffey, both 22, whose bodies were found in a house on Abbey Lane in Kinsale at 6.30am on Sunday morning.

Two men, both in their 20s, who were arrested in Cork on Sunday evening were released without charge last night. A woman, also in her 20s, was also released without charge late last night.

Files for all three are being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Gardaí says that the man arrested today is being held under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act. He can be held for up to 24 hours.
