Large jobs fair announced for May

Jobs at home and abroad will be on offer at the Jobs Expo 2012 at Dublin’s RDS in May.

A LARGE EMPLOYMENT and recruitment fair taking place in May will offer those seeking work both at home and abroad opportunities, as well as giving advice to those hoping to set up their own businesses.

The Jobs Expo 2012 will be held over 12 and 13 May in Dublin’s RDS, and aims to provide job seekers real opportunities to find employment.

There will be a “large number” of job opportunities offered and access to the fair is free of charge.

Learning Ireland, the organisers of the fair, say examples of the sorts of jobs of offer will be:

  • Engineering company GxP Systems which currently has 21 job openings, for engineering positions in Ireland, the US, and Mexico
  • Cork based Software company IFDS Percana
  • Australian company Tom Browne Drilling

The Jobs Expo 2012 will “provide the information needed” for those hoping to work in Ireland, abroad, climb the employment ladder or start their own business.

There will be three specialised ‘villages’ at the fair; engineering, health and professional.
